Industrial plant gets dirty fast – from product build-up inside lines to oil, grease and residues on floors, walls and equipment. Telcoss provides specialist high pressure jet washing services to clean surfaces, pipelines and process equipment quickly and safely, helping you keep your site compliant, efficient and easy to work in.

Based at Wilton International in the North East and working across the UK, our high pressure industrial jet wash teams support factories, utilities, energy sites and heavy industry as part of Telcoss’ wider industrial cleaning and environmental services.

What is high pressure jet washing?

High pressure jet washing uses a focused stream of water, delivered at high pressure, to cut through dirt, coatings and deposits. It’s far more powerful than a standard high pressure jet wash, and when used by trained operators it can:

  • Strip grease, oil and product build-up from surfaces
  • Break up and remove scale and deposits inside pipework
  • Clean tanks and vessels ready for inspection or maintenance
  • Wash down plant areas after spills or shutdown work

Telcoss also carries out high pressure water jetting inside drains, sewers and culverts as part of our drainage and sewer cleaning services, often in combination with vacuum tankers and CCTV surveys.

Signs you may need high pressure jet washing

You might benefit from Telcoss jetting support if you’re seeing:

  • Reduced flow in pipelines or process lines
  • Loss of efficiency in heat exchangers or cooling systems
  • Persistent oil, grease or product residues on floors and equipment
  • Tanks that are difficult to empty or clean using basic methods
  • Drains, channels or culverts that repeatedly silt up

In many of these situations, high pressure jet washing services offer a faster, more thorough clean than manual methods or simple low-pressure washing.

Why choose Telcoss for high pressure jet washing?

Industrial focus
High pressure jet washing at Telcoss is part of a broader industrial cleaning and environmental service, not a stand-alone domestic pressure washing offer. Our teams are used to complex sites, heavy plant and critical operations.

Versatile capability
We can apply high pressure jet washing services to surfaces, equipment, tanks, pipelines and drainage systems, often in a single visit.

Integrated services
Because Telcoss also provides tank cleaning, vacuum tankers, DISAB vacuum units, drainage and sewer cleaning, we can combine services into one coordinated package, reducing downtime and the number of contractors on site.

Planned and reactive support
Whether you need a one-off clean during a shutdown, routine maintenance or help after a spill, Telcoss can tailor a high pressure jet wash to fit your schedule and production needs.

Where can Telcoss high pressure jet washing help?

Because we treat high pressure jet washing as a flexible industrial cleaning tool, we use it across many different areas of a site. Typical applications include:

1. Surfaces and structures
• Production floors, loading bays and traffic routes
• Bunds, plinths and external slabs
• Steelwork, walkways and access platforms
Regular jet washing removes grime, oil and product residues that can cause slips, corrosion and hygiene issues.

2. Tanks, vessels and bunds
High pressure jetting is a key part of our tank cleaning work. We use it to:
• Remove sludge, scale and product from internal tank walls
• Clean bunds and surrounding areas after spills
• Prepare tanks for entry, inspection or repair
Jet washing is normally combined with vacuum removal and safe confined space entry where required.

3. Pipelines and process lines
Over time, pipelines and process lines can lose capacity as material builds up inside. Telcoss uses controlled high pressure water jetting to:
• Remove scale, rust and product build-up
• Improve flow and heat transfer
• Prepare lines for inspection or lining
This helps restore performance without the need for aggressive chemicals in many cases.

4. Drains, sewers and culverts
At Telcoss we use high pressure drain jetting to support our sewer and drain cleaning work, particularly on industrial sites. It is ideal for:
• Clearing fat, oil and grease deposits
• Removing silt and debris from culverts and large pipes
• Cleaning lines ahead of CCTV surveys

When required, we pair jetting with vacuum tankers to remove loosened material and leave systems flowing freely.

How our high pressure jet washing service works

We design each job around your plant, product and safety requirements. A typical project looks like this:

1. Site assessment
• We discuss what needs cleaning, access options and any process or safety constraints.
• Where needed, we visit site to review the area and agree isolation and protection measures.

2. Method and equipment selection
• We select the right pressure range, nozzles and accessories for the task.
• If the job involves tanks, drains or vessels, we plan how jetting will work alongside vacuum removal and any confined space entry.

3. Jet washing and waste control
• Our operators carry out the high pressure industrial jet wash, controlling overspray and run-off.
• Loosened residues are collected using vacuum tankers or other agreed methods.

4. Inspection and hand-back
• Once cleaning is complete, we check the area or equipment with you.
• We can support follow-on inspection (for example, CCTV surveys or tank inspection) if required.

Throughout, we work to strict health, safety and environmental procedures, including appropriate PPE, exclusion zones and permits.

I’ve spent the last few weeks on something quite familiar to me; Managing tank inspections. Today, we finished ahead of schedule with the result we had expected, no lost time and most of all, no incidents. I would like to thank the guys at Telcoss Ltd for an exceptional service in cleaning and prepping the tank.
