Drainage & Sewers

Nationwide solutions, tailored for you

When drains and sewers slow down, the rest of your site feels it. Standing water, bad smells and repeat blockages can all disrupt production and create safety or environmental risks.

Telcoss provides dedicated drainage & sewers services for industrial clients who need robust, engineered solutions rather than short-term fixes. Using high pressure water jetting, vacuum equipment and CCTV technology, we keep your network clear and give you a clear picture of what’s happening underground.

What do Telcoss Drainage & Sewers services include?

We focus on the full performance of your drainage system, not just the obvious blockage. Typical services include:

  • Drain and sewer cleaning and unblocking
  • High pressure water jetting to remove fat, grease, roots and scale
  • Desilting and cleaning of manholes and pipe runs
  • Gully, channel and yard drain emptying
  • Culvert and large-diameter sewer cleaning
  • CCTV drain and sewer surveys with detailed reports

All work is planned around your site layout, access and operating hours so disruption is kept to a minimum.

When should you call Telcoss?

Common warning signs that your drains or sewers need professional attention include:

  • Manholes or gullies overflowing, especially during heavy rain
  • Sinks, toilets or process drains taking longer than usual to empty
  • Persistent odours around covers, channels or internal traps
  • Localised flooding or standing water that won’t drain away
  • The same area blocking repeatedly despite basic clearance attempts

Early intervention usually costs less than dealing with a full sewer failure or pollution incident, so it’s worth acting as soon as these symptoms appear.

Planned maintenance for drainage & sewers

Waiting for a blockage is rarely the best strategy. Telcoss can set up straightforward maintenance plans for critical lines and assets, such as:

  • Scheduled cleaning of key sections of foul and surface water network
  • Regular gully and channel emptying in high-risk areas
  • Periodic surveys of ageing or high-load sewers

Planned work reduces emergency call-outs, extends asset life and helps you demonstrate that you are managing drainage responsibly.

Telcoss, taking care of you

Need help with Drainage & Sewers on your site?

If you’re dealing with recurring blockages, local flooding or simply want to understand the condition of your drains and sewers, Telcoss can help.

Get in touch to discuss your drainage & sewers requirements and we’ll put together a clear, practical plan to clean, survey and maintain your network – keeping flows moving and your site operating safely.

Cleaning and unblocking drains & sewers

Most drainage problems come from gradual build-up inside pipes – fats and oils from kitchens, product residues from process areas, or silt and debris washed in from outside.

High pressure water jetting

A jetting hose is fed into the drain or sewer and water is delivered at high pressure through specialist nozzles. The jet cuts through deposits on the pipe wall, breaks up obstructions and restores the pipe’s internal diameter so it can carry flow as designed.

Vacuum removal

Where there is heavy silt or debris, we combine jetting with vacuum removal. Loosened material is lifted into the tanker instead of being pushed further down the system, reducing the chance of the same problem returning.

Together, these techniques clear blockages properly and return capacity to the network.

Drain surveys and CCTV

Sometimes you need to know more than “the blockage is gone”. Telcoss is fully equipped to carry out drain surveys, combining:

• High pressure water jetting to clean the line
• CCTV cameras to visually inspect internal condition
• Vacuuming to remove silt and debris during or after the survey

Following a survey, we provide a structured report on the condition of the network, including video footage, defect locations and practical recommendations. This helps you plan repairs, upgrades or maintenance programmes with confidence.
